How deep is your love for UDC?

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Our team has carried out many inquiries at our sites in order to improve them and make you love them even more! A huge pile of opinions have gathered from all of you and now we would like to share these heart-warming thoughts with you too! As the questionnaires have been anonymous, we hope you will experience the thrill of meeting your own golden words at UDC team blog! Woof and meooow! :)

We have been burning with curiosity and therefore asked you:

“Why do you think Uniteddogs and Unitedcats are the most awesome places to be?”
Read the answers

“Because it connects dog-loving people all over the world - and maybe it makes the world a better place, at least for abandoned dogs..”

“I do think that Uniteddogs is the most interesting and also the best place, because it gives us the changce to meet dogs from all around the world, and discuss canine matters with their owners by way of comments, personal messages and the forum!”

“We are able to meet new friends, most of them are educated disciplined, we can always learn from them. The Dogs and Cats are magnificent and I want to say thank you for putting up a site like this!”

“Because dogs are soulmates to a lot of people and it’s one place where dog-lovers can come together!”

“Pets touch peoples hearts abd that comes across on the site: people are more loving, caring and friendly speaking on behalf of their pets. No agression, and more gentle and  relaxed atmosphere is a result of all this!”

“Because that makes dogs and cats more important. People in my country think that animals and toys are the same things, but this page makes them think that maybe it’s not that way. For me animals deserve to enjoy life and share their life with everybody!”"I love to read the forum because I get new ideas and I learn a lot too from other pet owners!”

“The idea of connecting tonnes of doggie owners around the world is wonderful. It’s especially interesting to find some other users and dogs in my own area and get to know them!”

“It’s fun and I find it a stress reliever - you can sign in and know people are not judging you! And how can you not enjoy seeing a sweet kitty, it just makes me smile! :-)

“This site helps to recognize that there are other people who also love cats and that makes me feel better about the humanity, myself and others!”

“I think it’s great for everyone who loves cats or dogs to mingle here in a virtual world and share our stories without being mocked or considered lunatics just because we love our pets, to be understood when we are happy or laughing because of our cat or dog and also very importand when we are sad as our loved ones get sick or when they cross the rainbow bridge…”

“It is a cool place because it is a great website dedicated to true cat and dog lovers. I think people who truly give importance to their pets can express via UDC sites without being considered silly. I feel it’s a website where I can show my cats to the whole world with pride. So well done!”

“All my cats had their profile online as soon I found Unitedcats. I’m never afraid of losing their valuable photos and videos again because I can upload them on Unitedcats. It helps my cats to build a larger network of friends among cats and their owners too. Moreover, I can sign up at no charge at all! What I found recently and what really makes me proud to be Unitedcats’ member is the fact they are supporting animal protection organization too!”

Here and now, you can help us go on and on with the endless chain of fabulous thoughts! Be first to leave a comment! Meoow!

This is an innovative slogan of
TEHNOPOL - Uniteddogs and Unitedcats’ new home. As Uniteddogs and Unitedcats have been growing as constantly as it’s team, a need for new and bigger rooms was emerged for having greater possibilities to generate and share new awesome ideas! Let’s not forget the fact that our four-legged team members have been yearning for bigger place to fool around too! Riki introduces you his new home!

For couple of weeks now, UDC team has been working in TEHNOPOL. This is an ideal environment for knowledge based companies, providing business development services, setting up in Estonia, international cooperation and business accommodation. It is situated in Tallinn, in Mustamäe, in the same campus with the Tallinn University of Technology, IT College, different research institutes, students hostels and sports facilities next to nice parks for sports and leisure.

The atmosphere here is superb - we are surrounded by
~12000 students and ~1100 researchers. This helps us to meat our inspiration and therefore develop faster among all these great thoughts. Today TEHNOPOL has about 36 000 square meters of office and leisure time space. There are 140 tenant companies like Skype, Cybernetica, Celecure and 22 other companies in business incubator in addition to United Dogs and Cats Ltd.

The business incubator where UDC is located is cooperating with the alternative in USA - Silicon Valley. This park hosts many starting companies as well already successfully developed ones - for instance Google.

During the next five years Tallinn Technology Park TEHNOPOL faces an overwhelming development of infrastructure. By the year 2010 first two buildings will be completed and by the end of the year 2013 the overall number of tenant companies will increase up to 200.

Today, Uniteddogs’ and Unitedcats’ whole team has settled in at our new office. There is still a lot of things to finish - for example our four-legged members are waiting for their special corner to get ready, so a decent housewarming could be held in the middle of a decent pile of doggie-gifts of course! At the same time rest of the crew greets the flow of new enthralling ideas with enthusiasm and hopes to share the great product of the local-ideas-generating-environment with all of you very soon! ;)
